Is it possible to write about an end before the action started for real? Maybe it is the long journey that we started one year ago. At the Berlin Fahrradschau 2018 we fired the starting pistol: with sweet bikes, tons of positive impressions and heart palpitations.
Fahrradschau Berlin 2018
It is the end of March while Christoph, our Buddy Sebastian and I are riding the sprinter to Berlin. The bay is packed – in an absolute professional way – with stuff for the fair: Small parts from Dresden based friends like Light Wolf and Beast that we love to deliver for them and of course the sour prototypes. At the same time, two more models are pedaled to Berlin by Basti and Stephan. We talk about everything that flies through our personal bike-cosmos. But our inner self repeats the same question: Will this work out? Probably you could use a quote of Terminator 2 because of the real road in front of us, into an unknown future.
Teaming Up!
The weekend was great through lot of feedback and the opportunity to give sweet and sour treats, information about upcoming releases and the way to our launched homepage into the hands of interested bikers. Afterwards, the work didn’t stop: a lot to plan, to write, a lot of handcrafted woodwork, spilling thoughts on the table but also letting things slide. Even more important was and still is growing together as a team. So Henri bored a ticket and our Sour-Trio was complete.
After the arrival of the first frames, we had the chance to play around with builds and procedures, could delight us about genius concepts of colors and tender details, plus we got the chance to collect the first pictures of different components on various models.

Based on the feedback given to us and ongoing circulation of ideas, we reshaped all the prototypes before we ordered them, finally. After that, the great waiting began. But we used the given time to get some new irons on and to ask ourselves about basic questions and everything belonging to the brand – just to answer it with a “Yeah, this is awesome!” The Moon Hunt came up as the first event, Henri became the ultimate online-shop expert including king of the plug-ins. Christoph and I drove recurrently into the Saxon Switzerland where our babies got an awesome wrapping. And beside that: typing, enrolling weird ideas and letting it slide.
Let’s have it!
So, a lot happened in the small Sour-cosmos, he? Something comes to an end, but we are still standing at the beginning. We hang around here and are way excited, maybe strained too, but on the brick of exploding. We want to release our awesome bikes! We want to see them roll! We want to see happy faces! And even more important: we want to go on with everything and let our freaky and faithful relationship grow. A big Thank You to our supporters who gave us leads, critics, ideas and sympathetic ears!
