Clueless

Light tubing, a max of 45mm tires, and geometry for long days.

Clueless? Not sure where to go next? The Clueless will help you get lost!

The Clueless is your best friend for long days in the saddle on mixed surfaces. Whether those surfaces are gravel, asphalt, or just the roads between coffee stops, the Clueless is game. Fenders and lights, this bike will take you to the end of the world, or the office before 8am. Knobby tires and fast wheels and you can take on any ridiculous gravel route your chaotic friend has dreamt up.

All of this, handmade!

Fast and agile, but stable enough for when the road turns into a “road”.

The Clueless is designed for all rides and all roads, big or small, bumpy or as smooth as a pancake. The Clueless platform has been used as a daily driver, your trusty companion to get to work everyday, but also as a thoroughbred in gravel races throughout Europe and North America.

We gave the bike clearance up to 42mm tires, 38mm with fenders, to make this bike into a real Swiss army knife. This tire size combined with an agile geometry means the Clueless is calm when it needs to be, but will light up any forest track when asked to. Ace.

All the mod-cons, none of the headache.

Steel may be the “original” material to build bikes, but that doesn’t mean it has to be old fashioned. We have all the modern conveniences including internal cable routing, tapered headtube, and a threaded bottom bracket.

Our cable routing jumps out of the frame around the bottom bracket, out of sight, and then continues to the back of the bike externally. Not only does this make service easier, it also saves you a headache or two routing the rear brake and derailleur!

And as you’d expect, the Clueless gets all the smart details to run a rear rack, fenders, all the bottles, and even a fun rack if you purchase the frame with our aluminium adventure fork!

Adventure Fork

Our Adventure Fork is the heavy lifter for gravel bikes. We made this fork from steel, our favorite material of course, because we wanted this fork to look rad, and be strong enough to take all of the gear with you.

The fork length is just a hair longer than average, which means you should pair this fork with a Zero-Stack (ZS) lower headset cup that bring the effective length to 405mm, just about perfect!

When chosen with a frame of full build we powdercoat the fork in the same color as the frame. Should you wish otherwise just let us know.

Below are the frame and fork weights for each size of the Sour Clueless. These weights include powdercoating, but please keep in mind that your chosen powdercoat may be heavier than the average coating we use. Fades, gradients, and metallic colours can weigh more than single solid colour powdercoat. If you are interested the final weight, please get in touch. Weights are averaged over three frames per size. We apply an inside wax coating before shipping the frame to your door that will add additional weight.
