The Sour Crumble. A tasty bit of trail bike, made even tastier. Modern XC? Trail bike? The one for anything? The one for everything?! Yes.
The updated Crumble has received all the right tweaks in all the right places. A little bit here, a little bit there, all sorts of little details and updates all to time-warp our favourite trail bike up to the right here and right now.
The Crumble’s new longer reach paired with the not-too-steep head angle combines downhill prowess with quick steering characteristics and low speed fun. Still, there’s nothing too fancy and experimental here, just a tried and true classic… like a slice of sweet crumble pie.
All of this, handmade!
Please note:
- All frames are made in Germany in our workshop now.
- Production will happen on a quarterly basis with delivery times being between 8 and 12 weeks.

Handmade Sour Bicycles CrMo frame featuring heat treated, multi-butted tubing that’s ED-Coated for rust-proofing.
Our dropouts and designed in-house, in Dresden and have a replaceable derailleur hanger.
The seat clamp is designed in-house and is integrated into the frame. Should it ever fail, the frame can be professionally modified to use a traditional clamp.
