Sour Year 2021 Bike overview

2021 Round Up

Today is our last day at work for this year and we want to give you guys a little overview of what happened this year and what might come next year.

The last shipment of frames out of Taiwan is looking to be on time, which will be ready to ship out of Dresden at the end of the first quarter 2022. Unfortunately, the frames were planned for September but never materialised, this is further motivation for our new project “Homebrew” [LINK]. By moving our frame production in-house and removing the need to ship our frames using an overloaded global supply chain, we will have much more control over delivery dates. Pre-order for Homebrew frames to be delivered in April* is currently open, so get in touch with us or your local dealer and us an email as soon as possible.

This year we’ve updated our website and shop functionality to make it easier for everyone to picture their dream build! We’ve added more photos to the colour gallery and sorted it all based on colour type, frame, the whole gamut, go check it out! [LINK] Additionally we’ve added a number of languages to the site and upgraded the backend of the site to increase its stability. Maybe not the most exciting news for most, but hey, stable bikes, stable site… it’s a thing!

Although we had all hoped for a year with more relaxed Covid restrictions, that also never happened, but no worries, when life hands you lemons… We had to strip back and cancel most of our yearly events in 2021 just as the year before. But hey, 2022 looks to be a stunner! We will hopefully get back up to speed and be able to hang out and play bikes with all of you!

One event we were able to take part in and show our support for was the „Bohemian Border Bash“ [LINK] in the Czech Republic, and man what a release that was! It was so great to see so many people we haven’t seen in months? Years? In any case, huge thanks to Ondrej for another great edition of the BBB. Maybe see the rest of you in 2022?

And last but not least, we will be taking a winter break to regroup and spend some time with family and friends. We will be out of office 23 December until 4 January. Feel free to shoot us an email, we will get back to you once we’ve returned from our break.

Merry christmas to all of you!

*As most of you know, in the current state of affairs, all dates are given as a best guess at the moment. This date is based on all the information we can gather from everyone involved in the process, but please stay tuned for any updates, as always!
